UPDATE: Thistle Oak Farm has come to a close in Oregon. We are excited to see what new adventures we'll find in Idaho!
Thistle Oak Farm is a small closed family owned farm based on 22 acres an hour south of Coeur D' Alene. We have been raising livestock since April 2019. Our little piece of paradise is located in Northern Idaho. We raise Kune Kune pigs, Nigerian Dwarf goats, Holland Lop and Netherland Dwarf rabbits, and now miniature cows and shetland sheep. Our goal is to produce quality and friendly animals that not only bless us but others as well!
Our family moved out of town in January of 2019 and have been homesteading ever since. Before moving to a place with acreage, we raised several breeds of rabbits for about four years and owned six chickens for their delicious eggs. We have met some amazing farm friends who have eagerly mentored us with their wealth of information. The learning is never ending with every step we take. Along with our regular farm chores, we are always working on a whole variation of projects and starting new adventures. Things are never boring here! We love to talk to folks who are just as equally animal obsessed as us, feel free to reach out anytime through our Contact Form or Facebook page.
Sincerely,
Thistle Oak Farm and Family
